72 yrs old man came to us with severe varus deformed knee joints with difficulty in walking and managing daily routine home activities. His xray showed advanced level of osteoarthritis with medial subluxation of femur and tibial side big osseous defect formation in both knee joints. Thus planned for stage wise knee replacement surgery in view of old age and severe level of deformity. Clinical examination of right knee showed flexion deformity and valgus laxity due to tibial side big bony defect. Intraoperatively managed with simple primary knee implant although constrained implants were kept as back up. Tibial side osseous defect was managed with cement and screws augmentation with tibial stemmed component. Now patient is having no flexion or varus deformity after surgery. These complex cases require meticulous surgical planning and skills. We routinely performed such complex joint replacement surgeries at Sant Parmanand Sant Parmanand Hospital.
