Complex Supramajor Pelvi-Acetabular Surgery

Young gentleman came to us with high energy trauma to left hip region with severe pain and not able to stand or move his left leg. He was first stabilized with fluids and then xray evaluation done. His xray showed well displaced femoral head into the pelvic cavity with displaced Pelvi-Acetabular fracture. Thus he planned for fracture fixation with plates. These complex fractures require meticulous planning, surgical skills and training to work near great major blood vessels and nerves. Postop xray showed well reduced stable hip joint. Now patient is allowed to stand and become pain free. We routinely performed such complex surgeries at Sant Parmanand Hospital with great results
